A FEMALE staff member at a Wokingham borough school is due in court this morning charged with 19 counts of abuse of trust offences under the Sexual Offences Act.

The charges relate to three potential victims. The 41-year-old woman is also charged with one count of perverting the course of justice.

She was remanded in custody last night (Sunday) to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court this morning (Monday).

The woman was suspended from her employment to allow any investigations to be carried out and police say they are continuing to work closely with the school and the local authority.
