A MOTORCYCLIST was killed in a road smash today (Sunday).
The 52-year-old rider from Wokingham died when his red Honda VFR was in collision with a blue Peugeot 206 on the A4074 in Preston Crowmarsh, Oxfordshire, close to the water treatment works shortly after 10.20am.
Police shut the road in both directions between the Benson and Crowmarsh Gifford roundabouts for more than four hours while crash investigators inspected the wreckage.
Inspector Mike Webber-Gant said the man, who died at the scene, will be officially identified later this week.
