CANNABIS was found at the scene of a house fire in Winnersh, police say.
Police and fire crews were called to a property on Reading Road, Winnersh, at roughly 2.50pm on Thursday March 22.
They are now investigating after the discovery of drugs at the property.
The busy Reading Road was closed for roughly three hours while fire crews battled the blaze.
The blaze lasted hours, but afterwards police discovered the class B drug on the scene.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police confirmed: “We were called to the scene at 2.47pm on 22nd and the road was closed until about 5.50pm.
“The fire service also attended the scene.
“No-one was injured in the fire.
“Cannabis was found at the scene and we are investigating.”
