Explosion at sub-station causes power outages
AN explosion at a sub-station in Wokingham has led to power outages today.
Fire crews from Wokingham Fire Station were called out to the sub-station at The Lilacs in Barkham at around 9.30am following reports of a mini explosion.
Firefighters used CO2 extinguishers to put out the flames, which had spread to a tree.
