POLICE are appealing for information following a failed ram-raid at a supermarket in Wokingham.
At around 3.15am this morning, thieves targeted Waitrose, in Rectory Road, where they attempted to remove a cash point from inside the supermarket.
Thames Valley Police officers tweeted a photo of the scene at 6.35am, reporting that the thieves had used a stolen car to carry out the ram-raid, which they had left at the scene.

Anyone who saw anything suspciious in the area at the time is urged to call 101, quoting URN 85 28/02/18.
