THE WOKINGHAM Horticultural Association will be holding its first meeting of the year on January 9.
The meeting, which will be the annual AGM, will be held at the Bradbury Centre at 7.45pm.
Wokingham Town Council Mayor Peter Lucey will be in attendance, due to his role as the association’s vice president.
Throughout the year, the association, which is self-described as ‘Wokingham’s very own gardening club’, organises gardening shows, seminars and awards throughout the year.
David Hunt will be giving a talk about the ‘Gardens of the National Trust’ at the meeting, following the business of the AGM.
Entrance to the talk is £1 for members, and £2 for visitors, including tea/coffee and biscuits.
