A SPATE of burglaries and thefts from vehicles occurred in the Wokingham borough over the past two weeks.

On September 28 between 9pm and 10.30pm, an offender entered a house on Old Bath Road, Sonning, via an unlocked door.

They grabbed two bags left in the kitchen before fleeing.

Over in Palmer Close, Crowthorne, a concrete block was launched through the rear patio doors of a house between 7pm and 9.45pm on October 3, with thieves searching the house, taking ornaments and jewellery.

The following day between 9pm and 10.36am, someone removed a small pane of glass from the back door of a Bowyer Crescent, Wokingham home. They left with jewellery.

On the same day in Cutbush Lane, Shinfield, tools were stolen from a Ford Transit van parked on the street. A white van believed to be connected to the theft was spotted at around 9.15am.

Witnesses also saw a white van on Reading Road, Winnersh between 4pm and 4.21pm on October 4, when a Vuaxhall Vivario parked on a driveway was emptied of tools.
