AN OUTDOOR cinema will be returning this bank holiday weekend for a second showing.

The two-night event will be held at Dinton Pastures, Wokingham, and will show a film on Sunday night and then Monday night on the bank holiday weekend.

The first film is one that is bound to have everyone singing along and dancing, and stars Piers Brosnan singing his heart out.

'Mamma Mia!' will open the outdoor film-fest on Sunday August 27, before Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom entertain the crowd with swashbuckling action on the Monday evening.

'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' will be playing at the country park on Monday August 28.

Each film will feature a specialised drinks menu, with the 'Mamma Mia!' audience offered Greek Mojitos and Santori Sunrise Cocktails, and 'Pirates of the Caribbean' fans sampling some  Bermuda Triangle and Rum Punch.

Councillor Norman Jorgensen, executive member for environment, sports, leisure and libraries said: “Dinton Pastures is a beautiful country park and the perfect spot to lounge in a deckchair while enjoying an outdoor movie.”

Standard ticket prices are £15 adults and £10 for concession, with premium tickets costing a flat fee of £24.95 per person. This is a family event, with the suggested minimum ages being 8+ for Mamma Mia! and 12+ for Pirates of the Caribbean. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Films start at 8:30, with doors opening at 7:30pm.
