The last gasps of life were ripped from shelves of Marks and Spencer as the Wokingham flagship boogee supermarket closed its' doors one final time.
On Wednesday July 26, Wokingham's branch of M&S is to close after over 20 years of service, with the new flagship store in Bracknell opening the next day.
All members of staff were given the opportunity to transfer to another store of their choice following the closure, with a large amount moving to the new Bracknell store.
One anonymous shopper said: "I spent five minutes there and left.
"It was pitiful seeing people hovering just to see what other half price stock was being brought out.
"People were descending on the assistants as they were trying to load the shelves.
"Almost all of the stock was gone when I went, people had trolleys full of half price desserts."
