A MAN is desperately seeking the return of a car he re-built 17 years ago.
On June 29 between 2am and 4am, Gary Wilcock's BMW cabriolet went missing from outside his house in Finchampstead.
In a bid to have the car brought home, Mr Wilcock has offered a £1,000 for any information that leads to its safe return.
He said: "I had this car for over 17 years and I have re-built it all myself.
"I never planned to sell it so I am completely heartbroken. It's not about the money.
"The car has been in my life for many years so I have a lot of memories in including first dates with my long term partner.
"The agreed insurance value I had on the car will not come close to the sentimental value to me."
