A SIX hour stand off ended at 5.15am when a man was talked down from the roof of a petrol station.
At 10.50pm Thames Valley Police officers were called to London Road in Wokingham where a 32 year-old man was standing on top of the Shell petrol station.
The man was spotted on the garage just minutes away from St Crispins' School, with police fearing for his welfare.
It took officers six hours to convince the man to get off the roof.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and is in police custody.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
