A DISABLED man was mocked by two teenage girls after they attempted trip him, police have revealed.  

At around 1pm on Thursday, April 6 the man with limited mobility was walking in Rose Street, Wokingham when the two girls noticed him. 

While laughing at the man they let him pass and one of the girls stepped on his heels which nearly caused him to fall over. 

They made comments about how slowly the man was walking and continued to laugh at him.

The offenders then met up with three other girls and left in a bright red car that was parked in a disabled bay outside the Bradbury Centre. 

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "At around 1pm on Thursday the victim, a man aged in his thirties who has a disability which causes limited mobility, was walking in Rose Street. 

"Two girls were walking ahead and looked back at him. They allowed him to pass then purposely, while laughing, stepped on his heels nearly causing him to fall over.

"They made comments regarding the speed he was walking and made an offensive remark, while continuing to laugh at the victim.

"The offenders are aged approximately 16 years old, and of a slim build. One of the girls had her hair tied back in a ponytail and the other wore her hair down and it was shoulder-length.

"Both girls then met up with three other girls and left in a bright red vehicle, which was dirty on the lower half and had a loud exhaust.

"It was parked in a disabled bay outside the Bradbury Centre in Rose Street."
