STUDENTS of independent school Reddam House have seen results soar just one year on since the school took over Bearwood College.
The school have announced 61 per cent of students achieved A*-B passes, and 92 per cent secured A*-C grades.
This is a jump on last year where, under different management as Bearwood pupils, only 37 per cent of students achieved A*-B grades and just 54 per cent scored an A*-C in the AS exams.
Toby Mullins, senior school headmaster said: “There was wide anticipation amongst educators that these A Levels were likely to be the most unpredictable for years, against a backdrop of policy and syllabus reforms.
“We are thrilled that due to the hard work and dedication of our students and the forward-‐thinking Reddam House team, our class of 2016 is celebrating such fantastic grades and accepting offers at some of the country’s most prestigious Universities.”
