A BLACK people carrier was seen in Wokingham shortly before thieves broke into three vans.
The midday crime spree saw tools stolen from the vehicles in the Montague Park development.
Between 11.30am and 11.45am on Thursday, March 31, the offenders broke into three vans in Baker Crescent, William Heelas Way off London Road.
Investigating officer, police constable Paul Bentley from the Neighbourhood policing team based at Wokingham police station, said: "We believe that these incidents are linked and are keen to hear from anyone with information that could assist us with our investigation.
"I would particularly like to speak to anyone who may have seen a black people carrier, believed to be a Ford S-Max, in the London Road area near to Lock Fyne restaurant between 11am and 12pm on Thursday.
"If you have any information about the incident please contact me via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101."
