A SCOOTER rider has been flown to hospital after colliding with a skip lorry.
The crash occured at the junction of Langley Common Road and Biggs Lane in Arborfield at 11.20 this morning.
The air ambulance flew the scooter rider to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after suffering serious injuries.
Langley Common Road was closed while police investigated the crash although it has since reopened.
Police constable Simon Nelson, from the joint operations unit for roads policing, said: "I would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or who witnessed the vehicles travelling prior to the collision as they may have information which could assist the investigation."
