CLEANERS who had been trapped in a lift for two hours were rescued by firefighters yesterday evening.
Wokingham's crew were called to Brook House on Molly Millars Lane after the two female cleaners became stuck.
Fire fighter Ian Lamb said the alarm was raised after the two women alerted the cleaner in the building over the road.
"We were called at around 7.30 to cleaners trapped in a lift. They'd been there for two hours when we got there.
"They'd got the attention of the cleaner in the neighbouring building because there was noone in their building."
Once they arrived the rescuers used the lift key to free the trapped women.
