POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an attack on a man and woman in an Arborfieldp ub on Saturday to come forward.
A 44-year-old man and 31-year-old woman were both assaulted inside and outside the Bramshill Hunt Pub shortly after midnight on Saturday, November 14.
The man suffered injuries to his hip, arm and head and was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital where he was detained for treatment. He has since been released.
The woman had bruising to her face and whiplash to her neck and shoulders.
PC Cosmin Radu, from the patrol team at Loddon Valley, said: “This assault happened as the pub was closing and there were a lot of people around who might have witnessed it."
The offender is white in his 40s, medium build, 5ft 4ins, clean shaven and with short, dark hair.
He was wearing a black polo shirt and blue jeans.
