A MAN has been charged with a public order offence after being arrested at Wokingham's Armistice Day ceremony.
Police say a man walked through the service singing Bob Marley's 'I Shot the Sherrif' at the top of his voice.
Wokingham's Armistice Day ceremony was held in Market Place at 11am.
A bugler played the last post from the Town Hall's balcony whilst assembled dignitaries and members of the public marked the two minute silence.
A Thames Valley Police Alert sent out today said: "At 11am, a man was arrested for causing intentional harassment alarm & distress to the people who were paying their respects when he walked through the crowd singing I shot the sheriff at the top of his voice on Armistice Day."
