TRAINS between Reading and Wokingham are delayed after a man ran onto the line near Earley and threatened to hurt himself.
Trains from Waterloo are running as far as Wokingham but no further.
Glyn Hellam, a spokesman for the British Transport Police, said Thames Valley Police and the transport police had been called to the railway near Earley station.
He said: "Just before 4pm this afternoon we got called to Earley following a report of a man on the track.
"We discovered a man on the track threatening to harm himself. We are working to remove him safely from the situation."
At present there is no estimation of when services will resume.
Trains are currently at a stand between Reading and Wokingham due to the trespass incident at #Earley. Sorry for the delays.
