13.01 Four members of Wokingham Borough Council's executive won their seats in the most recent election.

12.35 RESULT. The last ward is in and Loddon has completed the Conservative 'blue-wash'. All of the 18 seats in the borough election have gone to the conservatives, including two seats gained from their Liberal Democrat opposition. Abdul Loyes wins the seat.

12.25 Philip Mirfin, who won the hotly contested Emmbrook seat said: "I'm extremely pleased. The vote shows that the public have endorsed the regeneration on a massive scale.

"My ticket was covered in regeneration.

12.06 The madness is coming to an end. Only one ward, Loddon, is left to declare. Abdul Loyes will be hoping the seat follows every other ward in the borough and elects him as its Conservative representative.

12.03 RESULT. Conservative gain in Twyford. John Jarvis takes the seat from the Liberal Democrats. He pooled 1,420 votes whilst Dee Tomlin, from the Liberal Democrats ran him close with 1,349.

12.01 RESULT. The blue-wash continues. Shahid Younis wins in Bulmershe & Whitegates.

11.58 RESULT. Wokingham Without is also won by the Conservative party. David Sleight wins the seat with a majority of 970. The ward had a turnout of 74%.

11.56 RESULT. John Kaiser, executive member for Highways wins in Barkham. The Conservative deluge continues.

11.49 RESULT. Mike Haines wins in Sonning. The Conservative candidate has a majority of 995 votes.

11.45 RESULT. Maiden Erlegh has continued the trend of backing the blue party. Conservatives sweeping the decks here in Loddon Valley Leisure Centre.

11.43 RESULT. The blue storm continues as Coronation votes in Conservative Kate Haines. Preferring the Tory to the Liberal Democrat Paddy Power.

11.41 RESULT. Philip Mirfin, executive member for regeneration holds his seat in Emmbrook. Facing off against a strong Liberal Democrat challenge.

11.39 RESULT. Anthony Pollock wins in Shinfield South next up is the hotly contested Emmbrook 11.36 For a bit of change it's not a result. Turnouts for all these borough elections are in the high 60s and low 70s.

11.35 RESULT. The Conservative dominance continues. Winnersh, a traditional Liberal Democrat stronghold votes in the Philip Houldsworth, overcoming the Liberal Democrat Shaun Hanna.

11.32 RESULT. The Liberal Democrats have lost South Lake. Conservative Laura Blumenthal takes control of the former Lib Dem seat, beating out Kay Gilder by 305 votes.

11.30 RESULT. Evendons follows the borough wide trend and votes in Conservative Christopher Bowring.

11.27 RESULT. There's no sign of the Conservative charge slowing down. Norman Jorgensen wins the seat in Hillside.

11.26 RESULT. Tim Holton wins in Hawkdon. The local Conservatives are running rampant.

11.23 Two parishes have started counting as we expect a deluge of Borough results in the near future.

11.20 RESULT. Conservatives win in Norreys too. Alistair Auty wins the seat and it looks like it could be a conservative whitewash in the borough elections.

11.06 RESULT. The second result is in and Conservative Julian McGhee-Sumner, deputy leader of the local Conservative party, has won the Wescott Ward. He is the first of the executive members for the council to retain their seat. Will he be the last or will his colleagues follow him in?

10.48 RESULT. Shinfield North goes to the conservatives with 609 votes for Parry Batth. Labour's Andy Croy comes in close with 501 votes while the Liberal Democrats woes continue on from Thursday night with just 108 votes. Turnout was 60% across the ward.

10.33 Counts are well underway and the rumours are that turnout in most wards is significantly increased on last year's borough election.

10.25 Candidates for Shinfield North have been asked to step up to the adjudicating table to help rule on doubtful votes.

10.20 A rough survey of the early verification by our reporter shows an unsurprisingly sting showing from the conservatives in all wards.

10.03 More and more candidates have started to arrive. at eh Wokingham count. After yesterday's disappointment the Liberal Democrats aren't looking too happy but there are a few wards where they stand a good chance.

9.41 Slightly later than planned but the counters have begun verifying votes that have come in.

9.19 We're about to get underway. A brief survey through the nomination papers suggests Emmbrook could be one of the tighter wards with the Conservative executive member for regeneration Philip Mirfin facing off against the Liberal Democrat's Imogen Lisa Shepherd Dubey.
