Louise Mills, 21, from Wildridings, is an ICT apprentice at Cisco in Reading and scooped the higher apprentice of the year at the Thames Valley National Apprenticeship Awards 2014.
Jacqueline Kent, 19, from Great Hollands, is a professional cookery and hospitality apprentice at Compass Group and she was highly commended in the intermediate apprentice of the year category.
Louise and the other Thames Valley winners from the event last Thursday will proceed through to the national judging stage and the awards.
