A car crash on the A329(M) this morning has backed up traffic around Jennett's Park.

One lane is confirmed to be shut, after the incident occurred earlier today heading towards Reading.

The cars involved are a silver Ford van and a black VW Golf, with the accident happening on the road above the Coppid Beech roundabout.

Police were called at 7.49am, and an ambulance is on the scene.

Traffic is reported to be at a standstill up to Bagshot Road, and to the Great Hollands roundabout, with traffic not moving through the Southern Industrial Area.

It is unclear whether there are any casualties, although initial police reports suggest no one has any 'serious injuries'.
