Sunninghill youngsters strike the right note for charity

YOUNGSTERS took part in a sponsored sing-a-long to raise money for a children’s communication charity.

Youngsters and staff from Sunninghill Day Nursery after the Chatterbox Challenge.

More than 30 children aged three months to five years old took part in the event at Sunninghill Day Nursery earlier this month.

They taking part in communication charity I CAN’s Chatterbox Challenge, where they recited songs and rhymes in front of parents and family members, including the infamous 'If You’re Happy And You Know It’.

Zoe Dance, the nursery’s manager, said: “We all took part in I CAN’s Chatterbox Challenge to have fun developing their communication skills whilst raising money for I CAN’s work with children who struggle to communicate.

“The Chatterbox Challenge concert went so well and was watched by some of our parents. All the children sang their little hearts out and even managed to remember all the actions from the 4 different songs we sang, it was a real pleasure to be part of this fun event.”

The sponsored sing-a-long raised £174.72 for the I CAN charity.
