The TSSA and RMT unions have agreed to suspend their planned campaign of industrial action pending the start of new talks with London Underground starting tomorrow. The dispute, over the closure of all 260 Tube ticket offices and the loss of 960 staff posts, caused widespread disruption during last week’s first 48-hour strike.
Over two months negotiators will undertake a station-by-station review, which Tube bosses say could result in some ticket offices remaining open.
