TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH after a woman was left with sustained head injuries in Arborfield this morning.
Police were called to the home in Valon Road by paramedics and the 30-year-old woman is being treated for her injuries in Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital.
Two men - aged 37 and 31 - are in custody and Det Insp Phil O'Neill said: “At this time we are trying to ascertain the circumstances around how the woman came to sustain the injuries. Officers will be at the address throughout the day.
“I would like to reassure local residents that we believe this is an isolated incident and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this at this time." Call Det Insp O'Neill on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 with information.
