The event was organised by Bracknell Forest Borough Mayor, Cllr Jan Angell, who has chosen the hospice as her charity of the year.
It was held in The Recital Room, at South Hill Park, on Monday, October 14. One of the speakers was Liz Showell, director of fundraising at the hospice.
Amelia Slaughter, community and events fundraiser from Thames Hospice, said: “This was a fantastic opportunity to meet with our supporters in Bracknell, to tell them about some of the fundraising opportunities we have coming up locally.
We were really pleased with the turnout and thrilled that many guests on the night expressed an interest in getting involved.”
The charity provides nursing, medical care, and support for adults who have life-ending illnesses.
