Berkshire charities set for boost as government match funding scheme launches tomorrow

From 10am tomorrow (Tuesday), voluntary organisations using the localgiving.com website will receive up to £10 of match funding every time they receive a donation via the website.
The donations will come from a £500,000 Cabinet Office pot.
The Grow Your Tenner campaign will run until the £500,000 pot has been exhausted.
Anyone wishing to donate to a voluntary organisation in Berkshire should go to www.localgiving.com/berkshire
Any voluntary organisations wishing to take part in the scheme should go to www.localgiving.com and sign up or contact the Berkshire Community Foundation on 01889 303021 for help.
As part of the campaign, localgiving.com will also double monthly donations of up to £10 for six months.
The Berkshire Community Foundation has worked with localgiving.com to help voluntary organisations across Berkshire raise almost £300,000 in the past two years.
