Celebrate the achievements of women in Berkshire
Published: 4 Oct 2013 15:00
THERE are just two weeks to go until inspirational women across Berkshire are recognised at a glittering awards ceremony - and tickets can still be snapped up.
The Sue Ryder Women of Achievement awards takes place at The Millennium Madejski Hotel, in Reading, on Thursday, October 17, where awards will be handed out in categories including Business Woman of the Year, CSR Champion of the Year, Community Champion of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Creative Woman of the Year, Performer of the Year, Coach of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year, and two special awards, Young Achiever of the Year and Lifetime Achiever of the Year.
The awards are sponsored by Invesco Perpetual, Charlton House, a trading name of CH&Co Catering Ltd, Higgs Group and Reading 107fm and cash raised from the night - which recognises women in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire - will help fund the Nettlebed hospice.
Tickets are £60 per person or £550 for a table of 10, which includes a complimentary drinks reception, three-course dinner, half a bottle of wine per person, entertainment and a goody bag.
The night also features an auction and raffle, with prizes including a Champneys pamper spa day for two, an Aston Martin DB6 day’s driving experience and an overnight stay at Reading’s Forbury Hotel with dinner for two and tickets for Sarah Millican’s show at The Hexagon.
Call Emma Harpaul on 01491 641070 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book tickets by Friday (October 11).
