ONE of the two men arrested after a man was stabbed to death in Bracknell on Friday has been released without charge, while the other has been granted bail.

Police were called to a house in Appledore, Great Hollands, at 11.25pm by paramedics after they found a man with a stab wound to his chest. Despite receiving treatment at the scene, he died a short while later.

Officers believe the man, who is in his 20s and has not yet been formally identified, is a Latvian national and they are trying to trace his next of kin.

A post-mortem examination has revealed that he died from a stab wound to the heart.

A 31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail until December 18, and a 42-year-old man, also arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released without charge.
