The show, hosted by BMG Events - a sister company of the News - at The Centre in Farnham Road, offers small to medium sized local businesses the opportunity to exhibit, network and create partnerships.
Guests will hear talks from national companies, including Russell Cook, managing director of Sire Technology and Mark Mars from Perspective Flow, who will talk about how to make the most out of social media in business.
Head of SME at Telefonica UK, Jo Wade, will also speak and she said: “I’m very excited. I will be looking, like everyone else, for hints, guidance and tips because we can always learn more from each other, regardless of business size.”
The keynote speaker is Jason Oakley, the managing director in charge of commercial banking at MetroBank.
Many of the delegates and exhibitors are looking forward to the show, with some experiencing it for the first time, including Andrew Ewbank, the head of marketing at Thames Valley’s oldest law firm Blandy & Blandy.
He said: “In previous years I’ve found the event to be affordable and well managed – it is an event that certainly creates traction from the local community.”
Magikos director Tony Donoghue, who has exhibited twice before with his business from Crowthorne, added: “It is not always about closing deals but it is about the exposure you get.”
There are 80 exhibitors at this year’s show to present their products and services plus a number of workshops available to take part in, including Performance Management from Business Doctors and The Seven Deadly Sins of Networking by Berkshire Networking.
The East Berkshire Business Show starts at 8am and finishes at 4.30pm and is an ideal place to build relationships with other local business owners and managers, meet suppliers, and increase brand awareness.
