Holy Trinity Church in Theale will host the celebration of marriage service, and is inviting couples who tied the knot at the church to share their stories and join the celebrations.
Reverend Ann Templeman said: “We have invited back all of the couples we can get hold of who have married in the last 10 years. But it is not just for people who married at the church, we want to whole community to be involved.
“It’s about celebrating what marriage is, and this is a lovely way to make contact with people who aren’t regular churchgoers, but who have a fondness for the church.
“People really love getting married here and everyone has been really positive about the day. We have two couples who will give readings together, and the choir will sing wedding-themed hymns and music.”
The service begins at 4pm, followed by champagne and cake in the church’s Rectory garden.
Reverend Templeman, who celebrated her Ruby wedding anniversary this month with husband Peter, added: “We want this to be a celebration for everyone, a day of sharing memories and marking the union of marriage.”
