Royal Borough outlines road closures for Coronation Regatta and Windsor Triathlon

THE Royal Borough has announced the roads that will be closed this weekend for two events expected to attract thousands of spectators.

The following roads will be closed between 5am and 11am on Sunday:

Clarence Road - Eastbound between its junctions with Clarence Crescent and Charles Street

A332 King's Road roundabout - On the roundabout between the westbound lane of the A308 Osborne Road and the eastbound lane of the A308 Osborne Road

Drift Road - Between its junctions with the A330 Ascot Road and Winkfield Lane in Bracknell Forest Council

Vansittart Road - At its southern junction with Arthur Road

The following roads will be closed between 6am and 1pm on Sunday:

Goswell Road - For its entire length

Barry Avenue - From its junction with Goswell Road westwards to the railway viaduct

River Street - For its entire length

Thames Street - For its entire length

Thames Avenue For its entire length

Datchet Road - For its entire length

King Edward VII Avenue - For its entire length

Windsor Road - Between its junctions with Queens Road, Datchet, and King Edward VII Avenue

High Street - For its entire length

Sheet Street - Between its junctions with Victoria Street and the High Street

The following road will be closed on Sunday between 7am and 1pm:

Eton High Street - Between its junction with Keate's Lane and the River Thames bridge

You will not be able to make a right turn at these junctions between 5am and 1pm on Sunday:

Charles Street - Southbound at its junction with Victoria Street

Alma Road - Northbound at its junction with Arthur Road

Arthur Road - Eastbound and westbound at its junction with Alma Road, and northbound at its junction with Vansittart Road

There is temporary prohibition of waiting on the following roads from 12.01am on Saturday through to 8pm on Sunday:

B3021 Southlea Road - Both sides - from its junction with B3021 Datchet Road north-eastwards to a point 100 metres north of its southern junction with FP No.8.

B3021 Southlea Road - Both sides - from a point 30 metres south of its junction with Beaulieu Close northwards to its junction with The Avenue

B470 Windsor Road - West side - from its junction with Queen's Road north-westwards

B470 Windsor Road - East side - from a point approximately 54 metres northwest of its junction with Queen's Road north-westwards to its junction with King Edward VII Avenue
