Soaring to fame with his album Bat Out Of Hell, the singer will say a fond farewell to his rock career at the racecourse on Saturday, August 17.

The singer will perform a two-act show, the first to include his greatest hits such as 'Dead Ringer For Love' and 'I'd Lie For You (And That's the Truth)' followed by a second act of Bat Out Of Hell, with all seven songs performed in their original order.

Stephen Higgins, racecourse managing director said: "Meat Loaf's farewell tour will be the perfect power ballad end to a great day's racing on Ladies Day this August. He has so many big hits which the crowds can sing along to as the sun goes down. This fixture will certainly be one to remember."

The full day of racing and entertainment promises to be the event of the summer, and tickets are on sale from tomorrow (Tuesday).

Visit to buy tickets with prices starting from just £35 which includes the racing and concert. A limited selection of Golden Circle tickets are available at £65.
