ABC family fun day postponed

A FAMILY fun day has been postponed because of bad weather.
The ABC To Read event was due to take place at California Country Park tomorrow, but performers have cancelled their appearances because temperatures are set to drop to zero degrees Celsius over the weekend.
A new date for the event, which also features a sponsored walk, is yet to be announced.
Spokeswoman Lani Charlwood said: "The Berkshire reading charity apologise for having to postpone this event due to reasons outside of their control and urge those who had signed up to take part in the event when the new date is announced.
"Funds raised from the event will directly impact the work of ABC to Read with children in Berkshire who are struggling with their reading."
