TRAFFIC UPDATE: M4 delays after accident

THERE are long delays this morning on the M4 eastbound after an accident between junction 4b for the M25 and 5 for Langley.

One lane remains closed between the two junctions with traffic backed up to junction 10 for Reading, Bracknell and Wokingham.

The incident is causing delays of up to one and a half hours with the Highways Agency expecting normal traffic conditions to resume by 9.45am.

The accident involved four cars and a lorry.
