Friends and family asked to wear pink for 'much-loved' Danni's funeral

A SEA of pink will fill Easthampstead Park Crematorium on Monday as family and friends celebrate the life of Bracknell girl Danni Cooke.
The 22-year-of-old, of Claverdon, Birch Hill, died in the early hours of Saturday, December 22, last year.
She had been at a Christmas party at the Millenium Madejski Hotel - which backs onto Reading Football Club's home ground - when she fell down a staircase.
She was found at the foot of a fire escape stairwell with massive head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Described by family members as a "generous, intelligent and beautiful young woman" and "in her prime", Danni leaves behind father Paul, mother Katherine, and siblings Lawrence, Jessica and Abigail.
She worked as a lettings consultant at Atkinson and Keene in Maidenhead and attended Easthampstead Park Community School, in Ringmead, Bracknell until completing her A-levels in 2007.
All friends and family are welcome to her funeral, which will be held at 3pm on Monday at the crematorium, in South Road.
There will be a pink theme to the funeral but wearing something pink is optional.
Flowers are welcomed as well as donations to The Samaritans by cheque, care of Funeralcare, 12 Rectory Row, Bracknell.
A statement from Detective Inspector Nick Watts, of Reading CID, said of the investigation: "The case papers have now been passed to the Berkshire coroner to set an inquest date. The Thames Valley Police investigation has concluded."
