Firefighters called after smoke comes out of lamp-post

FIREFIGHTERS were called to Bearwood Road, in Sindlesham, earlier today, after a resident saw smoke coming out of a lamp-post.
The crew, from Wokingham fire station, arrived at the scene at about 11.20am and stayed for two hours to make sure no fire started.
The pump left the scene when Southern Electric mechanics had inspected the lamp-post.
