MPs vote in favour of gay marriage
POLITICIANS in the House of Commons have voted in favour of the Equal Marriage Bill today.
They voted in favour by a majority of 400 to 175.
Wokingham MP John Redwood and Windsor MP Adam Afriyie both voted against the proposal, while Bracknell MP Dr Phillip Lee abstained.

Report commentWe may have to re-define the meaning of consummation as I can see the divorce lawyers making a mint out of this one. I also thought Dr Lee was in Westminster to represent his constituency and not fudge the issue by abstaining.
