HEAVY rainfall and a blocked drain flooded Crowthorne train station on Wednesday night.

The water - pictured right around noon yesterday (Thursday) - filled the car park of the station, but a spokesman from First Great Western says train services were not affected.

Network Rail, with help from Crowthorne firefighters, cleared the water around 5pm yesterday - 24 hours after the flooding began.
