THE popular Wokingham Half Marathon is now full, with all 3,000 places snapped up.

Runners who have not managed to get a place in the race, at Cantley Park on February 10 at 10am, will receive a complimentary entry for next year's event if they act as a marshall this time.

Bell Foundry Lane, Warren House Road and Maidenhead Road will all be closed for the race, while Forest Road will be shut from the A321 Twyford Road to Binfield Road. Darvills Lane will be closed to traffic and Hungerford Road will be shut between Darvills Lane and the B3018. Hinton Road, in Hurst will be shut, as will Broadcommon Road, from Wokingham Road to Nelsons Lane.

Towards the end of the course, Islandstone Lane will be closed from Broadcommon Road to Nelsons Lane, which will be closed apart from the section to Pound Lane. Broadcommon Lane will be shut as well.
