SUPERMARKET staff at Tesco Homeplus in Bracknell will join together with workers across the country to 'Cycle To Lapland' for Cancer Research tomorrow.

Workers at the Skimped Hill store will take it in turns to put their pedal power to the test on a static bike between Friday [7] and Sunday [9], hoping to help secure £1m of festive funding nationwide.

The cycling will form part of a range of exciting in-store activities this Saturday [8], including a Santa's grotto, fashion show and guest appearances from Peppa Pig and La La Loopsy.

Organiser Danielle Hall said: "We are looking forward to the event as it is a fantastic opportunity for customers and staff to get involved, have fun and help support Cancer Research UK's doctors, nurses and scientists beat cancer at the same time."

The money - to be raised by Tesco, the staff, customers and suppliers - will help fund 32 vital early diagnosis research projects across the UK.
