X Factor starlet Amelia Lily takes the plunge at the Princess Square Christmas light switch-on.
CROWDS got a real treat in Bracknell last night, with a whopping two Christmas light switch-ons, a spectacular firework display and a five-song performance from rising star Amelia Lily.
The former X Factor contestant dazzled onlookers in both Princess Square and Charles Square by taking to the two plungers with boundless enthusiasm - despite the crippling cold.
And to top it all off, Bullbrook's award-winning Star Fireworks stole the show with a fantastic display accompanied by a festive sing-song.

Report commentNever even heard of Amelia Lily. Surely they could have got someone better than an X Factor runner-up?

Report commentThe only reason I established that Amelia Lily was an X-Factor runner-up was because I read this fascinating piece of information in the article. Therefore, my statement 'Surely they could have got someone better than an X Factor runner-up?' still very much stands. Bungle from Rainbow would have been more impressive.

Report commentRidiculous! A hand puppet is hardly capable of providing an entertaining evening to the general public who is over the age of 5. Your very quick to moan about the event considering us average Joes don't have to pay a penny to go and see it. If they managed to provide a huge star such as Adele or Robbie Williams you still wouldn't be happy! Try focusing and posting positive things such as the crowds were huge, the fireworks were lovely, the town was busy and it didn't rain.
