X Factor starlet Amelia Lily takes the plunge at the Princess Square Christmas light switch-on.

CROWDS got a real treat in Bracknell last night, with a whopping two Christmas light switch-ons, a spectacular firework display and a five-song performance from rising star Amelia Lily.

The former X Factor contestant dazzled onlookers in both Princess Square and Charles Square by taking to the two plungers with boundless enthusiasm - despite the crippling cold.

And to top it all off, Bullbrook's award-winning Star Fireworks stole the show with a fantastic display accompanied by a festive sing-song.

For an in-depth picture-packed report, see the Bracknell News - out Thursday.
