Magical moments caught on film, gourmet delights, carols, music and toys plus beautiful - and practical - gifts... just a few good reasons to visit the Macdonald Berystede Christmas Fayre on Thursday, November 29.
For a fast track to the festive spirit, and to make headway with Christmas shopping, the Macdonald Berystede Christmas Fayre, Sunninghill, Ascot on November 29 is an absolute must.
The event will take place from 2pm to 8pm and during the day Santa will be bringing his reindeer and the elves to the grounds of the hotel - which will no doubt be a huge source of excitement for the little ones.
Why go to the trouble and expense of a Lapland trip when Father Christmas and his team are coming to Sunninghill?
Personal stylist to the stars, Casey Paul, will showing off her fashion line The Little Wardrobe - which can also be found in Daniels, Windsor. - and offering colour analysis to visitors.
For youngsters there will be face painting and lots of food and goodies to enjoy including an amazing chocolate fountain courtesy of All About Chocolate.
With more than 30 stalls displaying gift ideas - from fashion and gourmet specialities to items for the home, such as candles and kitchen gadgets - there is something for everyone. Gary Wilkes from Moss End Farm Shop has a stunning range of cheese and deli items, including chutney, balsamic and flavoured vinegar and oils, all beautifully presented to make tasty presents.
In addition, the Berystede event has sourced a range of beauty-themed specialists providing nail and body products and information on treatments.
Joy from Ascot's CoCo Boutique will be bringing the winter collection and Debbie from Wolff Jones Fashion House will be presenting a scintillating selection which also includes accessories. Look out for evening wear by Avida Windsor - with half-price savings.
Alongside the beautiful clothes there will be handbags and other accessories.
Choosing a Christmas present couldn't be easier with Christmas toys, perfumed soap, a portrait photographer and vintage jewellery.
There will also be the opportunity to taste mulled wine and mince pies.
The Bearwood College Christmas market takes place on Saturday December 1 from 12.30 to 4pm. The event supports Air Ambulance Berks, Oxon and Bucks and other charities. There will be lots of stalls, food, chocolate, cards, demonstrations and a prize raffle as well as refreshments. The event is sponsored by Richard Worth Estate and Land Agents. www.bearwood-pa.org.uk
The Berystede is very pleased to have Sisi Edmiston on board, she has been referred to as the Michelangelo of cake bakers and Michael Batemen of the Independent said that Sisi's Christmas cakes are the 'epitome of indulgence' and the best he has ever eaten.
Throughout the day, and evening, the choir from Hurst Lodge school will sing carols and festive songs, led by their inspiring music teacher Nicky Milburn with the grand piano provided by Handel Pianos, Sunningdale.
At 6pm Tony Berkeley will give an update on the St Francis Church roof appeal on behalf of Rev Father Tom Taaffe.
As the day progresses into the evening, the business community is invited to stop en route from the office to have a browse, buy a few presents and perhaps have a drink at the bar and a chat. Could there possibly be any better way to get in gear for Christmas?
The reindeer are Jackie Rowberry's of Animal Dramatics and children can sit on one while talking to Father Christmas and have their photo taken - a magical moment not to be forgotten.
The Macdonald Berystede hotel can be found on the Bagshot Road, Sunninghill, near Ascot, SL5 9JH.
This event is going to be a brilliant festive bonanza and entry is free.
