Flood alerts remain in force

RIVERS across Berkshire remain on flood alert following today's non-stop rain.

The Environment Agency's "flooding is possible, be prepared" warnings cover stretches of the Thames, Kennet, Loddon, Pang and Sulham Brook - but have been lifted for the Emm Brook in Wokingham.

More rain is being forecast for tomorrow.

Flood Alerts:

River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave

River Thames from Pangbourne to Purley (including Pangbourne, Whitchurch and Purley)

River Thames from Mapledurham to Sonning (including Mapledurham, Reading, Caversham, Playhatch and Sonning)

River Kennet and its tributaries from Berwick Bassett down to Newbury (including Winterbourne Monkton, Marlborough, Ramsbury, Hungerford, Denford, Kintbury and Newbury; also the River Og, the River Aldbourne, the Froxfield Stream, the River Dun and the River Shalbourne)

Lower River Loddon (including Swallowfield, Arborfield, Shinfield, Barkham, Lower Earley, Sindlesham, Winnersh, Woodley, Hurst and Waltham-St-Lawrence)

Lower River Loddon at the River Thames confluence at Twyford (Twyford, Charvil and Wargrave) River Thames from Mapledurham to Sonning (including Mapledurham, Reading, Caversham, Playhatch and Sonning)

River Pang from East Ilsley to Pangbourne (including Compton, Hampstead Norreys, Frilsham, Bucklebury, Stanford Dingley, Bradfield and Tidmarsh)

Sulham Brook from Theale to Pangbourne (including Sulham)
