Two-van smash in Ascot
A PENSIONER had to be cut out of his van today when two vehicles collided.
Firefighters from Bracknell, Windsor and Ascot stations were called to the junction of London Road and Fernbank Road at 3pm, to find a red Hyundai van and white Vauxhall van had crashed.
The driver of the Hyundai, thought to be in his 70s, had to have his ankle released by the crews and was looked over by paramedics at the scene.
No-one was hurt and both roads were blocked for more than two hours.
