Footballer charged with assaulting referee

A MAN who allegedly assaulted a referee during a football match has been charged with ABH.

The 27-year-old victim was overseeing a game at Easthampstead Park School on Monday, July 2, when he was attacked, say police.

The 26-year-old man charged has been released on bail to appear at Slough Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 18.
