A THUG headbutted a man while he was waiting for food at a kebab van.

Police are calling for witnesses after a 21 and 22-year-old man were approached by their attacker at about 2.50am on Saturday while standing at the van in Reading Road, Wokingham, opposite St Paul's Church.

One of the men was headbutted, leaving him with a cut to his nose, and the other victim was punched, but was not injured.

The offender is white, about 25, with short, spiky hair, approximately 5ft 10ins, and of medium build. He was wearing a blue hooded top with a black coat over the top.

Other people were at the van at the time of the assault and officers want to speak with anyone who recognises the description of the offender.

Contact PC Matthew Cadmore on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
