A WOMAN returned from holiday tonight to find the ceiling of her bungalow had collapsed due to flooding.

Firefighters at Bracknell fire station said the flooding was caused by a pipe bursting due to the freezing temperatures.

They added the resident had just returned home from holiday when she raised the alarm.

The crew spent around 45 minutes at the Deepfield Road property, having been called at 5.15pm, and isolated the water supply and electrics.
