THE HUNT is on for a woman who went missing from a hospital.

Susan Carr, 51, was reported missing from Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot at around 9.30am today (18).

She is described as white, around 5ft 3ins tall and has shoulder-length brown hair with blonde highlights.

She was last seen wearing a three-quarter-length black or dark brown woolly jumper, faded blue Levi jeans, a black scarf and Ugg boots.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Susan's welfare as she may be distressed."

Volunteers from SEBEV Search and Rescue Team have also been helping in the search since 12.52pm using a specially-equipped search control vehicle and search dogs. At 5.30pm they were continuing to search with more volunteers.

Anyone with information should call the police 24-hour enquiry centre on 0845 8 505 505 quoting URN 523 18-12-09.
