THIS award pays tribute to the teachers and back-up staff in our local schools who really do make a difference for the pupils. The category attracted many nominations from parents and head teachers.

The nominees were Arthur Allan, Gordon Cunnigham and Samantha Hunt.

Gordon Cunningham, headteacher of Easthampstead Park School won the award for his work with anti-bullying projects in the school.
